Don’t worry, we’re not about to suggest you embark on a month long juice cleanse. But, there are a lot of benefits from replacing one of your usual meal or snacks with a detox smoothie. They’re a fast way to pack your diet with antioxidants, they can give your digestive and immune system a boost, and if you sub one in for a meal, they can also help you slim down. So grab your blender and your grocery list and test out one of our favorite detox smoothie recipes:
1. Blueberry Smoothie
Think of blueberries as your secret weapon in your detox diet. Filled with antioxidants and fiber, they’re linked to cancer and heart disease prevention, as well as having anti-inflammatory properties.
1 cup frozen berries
1 cup organic spinach or kale
1/2 cup frozen bananas
1 tbsp flax seed meal

1 1/2 cups almond milk

2-3 tbsp honey, adjust to taste
1 tsp vanilla
4. Blueberry Ginger Peach Smoothie
This smoothie contains so many body-healthy ingredients, it’ll without a doubt have you feeling like a new person. It contains flax seeds, which have been known to decrease your risk of heart disease with their high level of omega-3 essential fatty acids, blueberries, which are jammed packed with antioxidants to combat the free radicals in the body, and ginger, which soothes the stomach.

1 cup blueberries
1 banana
2 tbsp fresh ginger
